The collaborative efforts of the Core Member Agencies form an integral part of a regional criminal justice enterprise information system. Operating as a Joint Powers Agency (JPA) under the California Government Code, this system is designed to facilitate seamless information exchange and enhance the collective capabilities of law enforcement and criminal justice entities.
Encompassing all municipalities within the county, along with the County of San Diego, the Core Member Agencies actively participate in this collaborative endeavor. Their involvement extends to both the utilization of the system and representation on essential committees, including the User, Technical, and Management committees. This engagement ensures a holistic approach to system governance and functionality.
The commitment of the Core Member Agencies reflects a shared dedication to leveraging technology and collaboration for the greater good of the community. By fostering open communication and coordination, these agencies contribute to a more effective and unified response to criminal activities, ultimately enhancing public safety throughout the region.
